To make matters worse, if/when you start watching content, even if you watch 30 seconds of it, Google will outright REFUSE to refund the purchase without arguing with them, if they even break after that. Most people will not have similar options and tech that can do that, and I am lucky to have that regardless. Yes, I have other options like 4k smart TVs and chromecasts, including a capture card I can run into my PC and use like a media player on my PC. I should not have to purchase or use another "tailored" device to view content I purchased with the agreement and understanding of HD quality. On a side note - PLEASE put a warning on the movies that users will be limited to 480p BEFORE they buy it! There's not even a warning label and I can imagine how many other people have fallen into this trap at this point. Well it's Sep.2021 and STILL the movies are only limited to 480p - can you please explain why and when we can expect to watch our movies in full resolution? If you don't know or can't fix it, please allow us to refund them because this is basically stealing from us.I understand issues happen and nothing is perfect, but at the end of the day we paid for the full resolution just like we would if we bought a physical disc, so by limiting our full resolution purchase to a bare 480p (not even 720p HD) that's completely unfair to the customer.not to mention all other 4K content on the platform works, just not the PAID MOVIES.? 2020 there was some sort of issue on YouTube's side which caused them to limit the movies to 480p. I have at least 4 movies on my YouTube account which I purchased in the highest resolution option and for some reason in Oct.
